Haruko Kotani ia a Paediatrician specialising in child neurology working at the Kochi Prefectural Medical and Welfare Centre for the Functionally Disabled. Her clinical work involves assessment and intervention for developmental and neurological disorders (particularly cerebral palsy, chromosomal abnormalities). Her Gillberg Kochi Centre research project looks at the neurodevelopmental outcomes (ESSENCE) in infants presenting with gross motor retardation.
