Research interests

Adam’s research primarily focuses on long-term outcome and adult life with regard to ESSENCE diagnoses. He mainly studies autism spectrum disorders, but he is also involved in research regarding ADHD and other ESSENCE diagnoses. Other specific research interests are psychiatric comorbidity, suicide, quality of life, diagnostic stability and personality.

 


Career

Adam is a licensed clinical psychologist with over ten years of experience working with children and adults with ASD and/or ADHD. He has worked in child habilitation services, child and adolescent psychiatry and adult psychiatry. At the moment he works as a process manager in Region Örebro, working mainly with reducing queues to assessments of neurodevelopmental disorders, and as a researcher at GNC.
