Ida Lindblad is a psychologist. She works as a private practice psychologist and has previously worked as a school psychologist. In December 2013 she put forward her dissertation focusing on learning disabilities: prevalence, associated functional problems, and follow-up of children – now young adults – of mothers with mild learning disabilities. After her dissertation she has been working on a school project concerning "Which students need more support in order to reach the goals of the 6th grade?" funded by the Special Needs Education Agency. Her research area focuses on examining how cognitive difficulties affect the possibility of reaching school goals. She also has an ongoing collaboration with SUF-Resource Centre in Uppsala on children of parents with intellectual disability.
